Davis Waithaka is the Chief Executive Officer at Elimu Holdings Limited where he oversees the strategic and business operations at the company.

He also heads the National Basic and Intermediate Skills Team under the Digital Skills and Values pillar of the Digital Economy Blueprint Taskforce, launched by H.E. Uhuru Kenyatta in May 2019 as part of the Smart Africa Initiative. In 2019, Davis joined the Strathmore University team of business mentors to guide, advice and coach businesses that undertake incubation programs at the university.

Davis sits on the Technical Committee on Information Technology for Learning, Education and Training of the Kenya Bureau of Standards. The committee develops, approves, adopts and adapts national, regional and international standards for materials, equipment, software and hardware that enable or support digital learning. Davis also sits on the Education and ICT Sector Boards at the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA). Davis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
