Ekrah is the Founder and CEO of the German Institute of Professional Studies as well as the Ekrah Group LTD. She holds an Essentials Business Skills Facilitation/coach course degree from ABMA Education, UK as well as a Leadership, Mentoring and Coaching degree from University of Cape Town. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Entrepreneurship from Kenya Methodist University (2011-2013), a Diploma in Business Management from Kenya Methodist University (2010-2011), Computer Repair Maintenance (A+) & Networking (N+) from Computerways LTD (2003), a Diploma in Computer Software from Graffins College and Computer Applications Certificate & German from Pekee Institute of Advanced Technology. Ekrah currently serves as the Secretary General of Kenya National Association of Private Colleges (KENAPCO). She also serves as a Member of the Education Sector Board and TVET Sector Advisory Committee of the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA). She is a member of the National Competency Based Education & Training (CBET) Implementation Committee; Speaker & National Chairperson of the Mentorship Department Global Business Roundtable (Kenya Chapter); Trainer, Women In Africa (WIA), and Women in Business Kenya and Mentors Africa Network. In addition to CDAK, she is also a board member of Ngaru Girls Secondary School, Rukubi Primary School and DTI Group Ltd. She is also a business committee member in RCTB banking self-help group, Partner for Africa IMPACTpreneur & Executive Assistant Trainings with RiseAssist Dubai.
