Njoroge is Senior Careers Advisor & Counsellor at Kenyatta University.

He has worked as a part-time lecturer at University of Nairobi teaching vocational and career guidance, a Student Counselor at Tumaini Counseling Centre and a Senior Graduate Teacher in Teachers Service Commission.

He has an M.A. in Counseling Psychology and B.Ed. (Arts) both from Kenyatta University, and a Diploma in Project Planning on decent work and productive employment from the Swedish Employment Service. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Counseling Psychology at Kenyatta University.
